The river swells due to the season, laying the groundwork for the subsequent scene of the tide joining the sea, while also establishing a fresh and brisk tone fo entire poem. 'River' clarifies that the main scene is the river. In ancient Chinese poetry, the river often carries rich emotions and cultural connotations; it can be symbol of a wanderer's drifting or a vessel for yearning. Here, the river serves as a link connecting to the sea and is an important element in showcasing magnificent natural lacapes. 'Tide': The rise and fall of the tide is a natural phenomenon characterized by powerful force and dynamic beauty. The spring river tide depicted in the poem is magnificent, surging anrbulent, and its connection with the sea further highlights its grand scale and awe-inspiring power. 'Joins the Sea in Levelness': The character 'joins' vividly portrathe state of the river water and seawater blending together as one, without distinct boundaries, giving a sense of boundless vastness; 'sea in levelness' emphasizes the calmnand vastness of the sea surface, forming a beauty that combines movement and stillness with the surging tide, showcasing the harmony and magnificence of nature."
